Dates and venue confirmed for INTERtunnel 2013 in Moscow

INTERtunnel 2013, Russia’s exhibition of equipment, products and services for the construction and operation of tunnels and underground spaces, will take place at Moscow’s Expocentr from 12 to 14 March 2013.

 

This will be the fifth in a highly successful series of events enabling engineers and buyers to learn more about the very latest in tunnelling technology and expertise.

 

The last INTERtunnel event in Moscow took place in March 2011 alongside the Exporail exhibition of railway technology and services. Together the two shows attracted more than 3,000 decision-makers, engineers and industry professionals from Russia and beyond.

 

Next year’s INTERtunnel will take place at Expocentr at the same time as Expotraffic 2013, the exhibition for road traffic management and highways operation. This will cover the technologies, equipment and expertise needed to increase the efficiency and safety of Russia’s roads network.

 

Organisations supporting INTERtunnel 2013 include Russia’s Federal Ministry of Transport, the Government of Moscow and the Russian Tunnelling Association. Also supporting the event will be the International Transport Academy, which will host the accompanying Transport Congress. Featuring high-level participants from government and industry, this will provide valuable insights into the strategic direction of developments in Russia’s dynamic infrastructure sector. INTERtunnel and Expotraffic are both organised by Restec Brooks Exhibitions, a joint venture of Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd in the United Kingdom and the St Petersburg-based Restec Exhibition Company.
